Fabulous, so you've splashed out on a beautifully crafted aluminum hand piece that now can be mistaken for the "C".

Not a bad thing. The C is a wonderful device.

5S though, wow, keeps astonishing me. Battery life has varied between double my 4S, which would last the day anyhow and half my 4S depending on usage. The camera is defying the laws of physics.

I use the Apple leather case, very happy with it, pleased I bought yellow. The natural wear, marking and feel of the leather is top notch.

Nope the point in all all the expensive hardware is for functionality not looks, looks are for wee poofters too interested in impressing other little poofters in some pub some place, I like these things cause they tick all the relevant boxes for my usage.

Any person who buys a modern smart phone and does not protect it with a case is asking for trouble if you accidentally drop your phone

You are allowed to appreciate the looks and materials yourself, the idea of impressing anyone else isnt something Ive thought about, in fact they are so common that Im not deluded enough to think that I have anything to show off with.

I do, however like the look of them and agree, what is the point of spending extra money on something that is designed and built well only to stick it in something cheap looking? It doesnt make sense. A lot of the cost goes on the design, as lets not kid ourselves, the iPhone is an average performer commanding a high end price tag.

Personally I prefer leather cases that I can take the phone out of, enabling me to appreciate what Ive spent too much money on in the first place.

In answer to the OP, this has recently been heavily reduced. Im not a fan of car branded accessories but this is discreetly labelled and the case speaks for itself.

Glad you can trust yourself to not drop or have your phone knocked out of your hand, I cant.
I went out suited and booted and decided the otterbox looked too bulky in my jacket pocket so took the cover off. Some **** knocked it out of my hand and shattered the screen, two years old and not a scratch on it before that incident.
Start another thread if you can name another phone that can serve my needs better than Iphone.
