Default Warning for Mac users - bitcoin hoax

This is apparently doing the rounds

Running anything you have to prefix with sudo is generally a bad idea. In this case you will delete all files and folders.

Not really dpb, you need a bit more cash up front but in the long run you're saving money.

Birchy, I totally agree but only a small percentage of Mac or Windows users know anything that goes on behind an icon. It's an easy trick to fall for Windows or Mac.

sudo rm -rf /* doesn't work in Windows, we're safe!

Incidentally, is anyone mining for bitcoins or have joined a pool? I'm thinking it's like the gold rush of the wild west except I've probably missed the boat now!

I can give you an alternative if you like. And yes, the boat is well and truly missed.
