Hehe, I used to do that - rewarding myself for finishing end of term exams at Uni.

I remember quite well putting the pen down one year and with a huge grin on my face, rushed off to buy a certain game on PS1 called "Gran Turismo"

My dissertation suffered quite badly from then onwards

from what i've seen/read there MAY be issues with windows xp machines running nvidia gfx cards (which is probably most of them!)

I have seen two dervice pack type patches available to fix these probs, but havent tried it myyself yet as was put off installing a load of unofficial service packs just to play it!

ack this game lags real bad on any CPU under 1ghz I had some serious issues with it crashing after 30secs to (sound related) so I had to copy all the sounds from CD2 to the HDD and use a NOCD patch to make it work I managed to get it working reasonably well now @ 800X600 I gotta say the gameplay totally owns Wicked game. Just need a XP2100 hehe.

Can you get the trucks to tow the trailors?
On the first map just up from the petrol station there is a car show room with a nice dodge viper kinda car in it. Very good for the 2nd street race and just left of that is a tunnel and if you kill the 5 tramps they have petrol bombs to use
By mistake i picked up a prozy and parked up down an alley way and it started making a noise think it must be a bug hehe. All by mistake of course.

Once you've had your way with her - and she looks a lot better than the ****** on the PS2 by the way - let her get out then club her to death with your bat, you can then have your money back. Plus, your health should have gone up thanks to the ****. Nice eh!

Bit gutted that it's not coming out on the Xbox, looks amazing.

Make sure you have a nice car, turning up in a knackered old van won't tempt these high class ladies of the night. Pull up next to one, park and wait, if she thinks you're looking for business she'll come over to your window have a chat then get in. Now you need to find a quiet alley or tunnel. Park up and wait a couple of seconds, you'll know if you're in a secluded enough spot if the car start's a rockin. Now watch your health go up.

Question

Is that blurring effect supposed to be like that on the cut scenes ? Or is it just me ?

There is one really cool thing. If you car jack one of the low rider cars, the ones that are Maroon with a cream roof and leopard skin seats.

When you press the analogue stick down for the horn, the car leaps up and down on its hydraulic suspension

If you put a battered up car in the garage to save your game when you get the car out the garage again its brand spanker! (your not paying to get the car fixed)
Dunno if you know this but if you put mp3's into the mp3 folder on your HD when in car a new station comes up and it plays your mp3s for you!

Ive just got onto the 2nd map!

Mr Dunk, no its not you, thats how its supposed to look Turn off trails in the video settings. Its much better with them off, u can actually see things then

I also turned video sync, and more importantly the frame rate limiter off; it does exactly wot it says, n slows the game down to 30fps when speed isnt needed

top tips lowrider awesome

Rockstar defo need to bring out some patches though. I cant use my sidewinder up n down for throttle/brake
