Hi
Have now received new case inc 300w ps so have started to put together.Reminder-Fic AZ31 m/b,Duron 800mhz,264mb PC133 SDRAM.Get flash screen of Fic logo,then mention of BIOS loading,then m/b no.,then main processor reported,then ram tested,then the following-
PRIMARY MASTER:MAXTOR 83500D4 TAVX3322
PRIMARY SLAVE:NONE
SECONDARY MASTER:NONE
SECONDARY SLAVE:NONE
CMOS checksum error-Defaults loaded
Press F1 to continue DEL to enter SETUP
But i can't-it just locks up.
Any ideas?

Sounds like you have got it all confused!!
You need to rest the CMOS on the MB. If you have the docs that came with it ur looking for the master jumper. If not it is usually a red 2 pin jumper on pins 1-2 near the centre of the board. Move it to 2-3 power on 10 sec power off (you shouldn't see anything on the screen...) replace jumper and power on.
This should reset the MB. If you are unable to find the jumper you can try to remove the CMOS battery (small watch type) but be carefull as some are soldered in place.
