Default Best Broadband deals ?

We have just bought a new house & will be moving into it in a couple of weeks or so.
Can anyone recommend a good broadband internet package?
Im not bothered about having a TV deal but would like quick internet that's unlimited download.

At the moment I think the house has a BT phone line installed so also need to look into the cost of line rental aswell as the internet price

Do BT still shaft their customers with hidden costs, charges, sur charges and anything else they can rip people off with?

Ive got bt broadband, 23mb/s free for 6 months, totally unlimited downloads (not even fair useage) along with the promise they wont slow you down, and 16quid a month for the rest of the term.

seems to be good, although they have faults on the line atm and their customer service seems okay, but openreach are a bunch of useless *****

No hidden extras with BT Infinity, but watch out for the 18month contract.

Do you pay extra for the line rental or is it an all inclusive package?
