Current stock levels on-line are OK with my network, apart from the "gold" (all variants) ones have now completely sold through.
Grab em whilst they are still available.

I'm a little threaders with apple at the moment - iTunes has disaggregated a number of my albums because of collaborations and therefore the artists are not identical and the ios7 upgrade deleted all the music off my iPhone except for the stuff I got through the iTune Christmas deals - even the stuff I had bought off iTunes was deleted - I'll go into town at tomorrow and have a look but I'm currently erring towards the HTC One

Just been told by O2, that you can't even buy one today anyway.
The "local" Apple stores of Cardiff, Bristol & Birmingham all sold out with 45 mins!
If you pre-order, you might get one next week. If not, it could be up to 6 weeks!!!
Me thinks to hold off for a while - let the frenzy die down

Out of the 9 variants available... four are already on back-order now with Vodafone, six are already on back-order with O2.
As reports suggest.... stock is obviously short - it's only 10am!

The only way they will shift those is if they give them away with contracts..... which I suspect will start to happen at some point in the not too distant future.

Impressed with Vodafones service considering the number of orders they're probably dealing with. Just been notified the phone is with the couriers already.

You'd hardly think people were under "hardship" what with new phone sales and XBOX One and PS4 pre-order sell-outs in the last quarter of 2013.
Nothing like new technology to boost spending.

I'm going to call my carrier tomorrow and see if their loyalty and retentions department feel like keeping an existing customer. Ideally I'd like to keep the plan I'm on and just sign a two year contract and get a 5S at the subsidized rate.
I am eligible for an upgrade, the problem is that I'll lose the plan I'm on, as it's not offered any more, and it would cost around $40 per month more to keep the same feature set I have now, which is far from ideal. This can change to perhaps $10 more per month if I drop things (go to 2GB from 6GB data, don't have visual voicemail, and a couple of other things)

Don't know what all the fuss is about. A colleague just walked into a Vodafone shop this morning and upgraded to a 32GB iPhone 5s and got unlimited voice and text with 6GB data for £46 on a 12 month contract. He paid £299 for the 5s and will simply get the cost back by selling the old 5 for £300-400 on eBay. No queuing like the sad muppets camped outside the Apple stores.
