My upgrade is due December as I normally miss a model out (iPhone 5) I'm looking forward to seeing what they have to offer, I no doubt will have one as android has nothing to offer for me.

As for ios7 I'm on the latest beta and it's pretty spot on already

You dpb, with your mild case of Fandroidism should tune in to see what features you'll get in the next few years.

I'll be somewhere on a lake with terrible internet access I think, you'll have to keep me up to date.

this. I've been using an old Nokia since my 4S expired and the signal coverage is far better on the Nokia. Someone in Apples antenna design department wants shooting.

Yep, my iPhone 4 is crap for internet on the go and browser crashes, my previous Blackberry was far better and both on the same network. Might have to dig out Steve Job's instructions on how to hold the phone to get better reception.

I find the wireless performance on our Apple devices is poor compared to any other devices we have, but, that said, my wife's iPhone 4s mobile signal is much better than my crappy works Blackberry. My S4 seems about similar in mobile signal performance to to the iPhone.

The best for mobile signal I ever had were my Nokias too.

Me too - the new connector spoilt it for me as I have a lot of stuff that my phones and iPad dock with and the 5 wasnt worth changing all those for.

Wow, I thought I was tight still using a 4S. The difference between the 4 and 4S is huge, you guys are in for a treat.

Jon, you should fix your phone. It might be a bit slow compared to others but it shouldn't crash all the time.

I had a 3, 3S 4 and now 4S, doesn't seem much different at all to me, certainly not "huge"

I guess it would depend on the apps you use but I can tell a huge difference even in Safari, the difference in the camera is huge as well.

For those not upgrading to IP5/s because of the connector, behold:-

http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MD...30-pin-adapter

£25 which is daylight robbery tbh, but they can be got for a fraction on a certain online auction site...... I'll be doing this, as my car still runs on the old connector.
