Does anyone know if PS2 prices will be droping? I heard they should be reduced to about 140 quid in about mid May.

Just missed out on the £100 one db is selling, it'll make it easier to live with loosing out if they come down in price

Hang on its gone mid May already, unless there's 42days in this years one

I reckon it'll happen, got to keep in competition with Gamecube so a price drop within the next few weeks is bound to happen.

 

US and Japan have just had a drop in price for the PS2, and it would seem highly likely that we are next. Reading www.eurogamer.net it would seem that another Final Fantasy game ( number 10 ? ) is just about to be released on Friday, possible that the price drop could co-incide with that. Read that although thy are doing a new pack ( PS2 + FF game ) they havent released the price to retailers for this yet. Others seem to think that Sony will wait until after the game is released as it may sell more consoles at current price..

US PS2 is now $199 ( £137 ) so I reckon we are looking at £150...

Also waiting for the price drop so I can go buy one
