I have a Macbook pro and when I use the up and down arrow keys to make the page scroll up or down it seems quite slow and jerky. Is there some where in the system where I can alter the speed and try to get it to move a little smoother ?

why not use the trackpad?

I do sometimes but it depends what is on the page, with lists and illustrations I find the arrow option more useful.
