was looking around trying to find something so i can use game consoles on my monitor.
have been told of ones which just take a AV lead in from the games console. anyone seen/got one of these?? a m8 has one and he said he paid about £40 for it.
i know there are ones for specific consoles, but i want a universal one to plug and AV device into.

For a little bit more than the converter you could get a tv card type thingy (technical term 
)
I have a WinTV USB made by Hauppauge, it's basically a box with an aerial input and a s-vhs input which can take a composite input. Downside to this is you have to have the computer on.
