I installed my Conexant (Dabs) modem last night and it worked fine, however when I follow the Pipex setup instructions the modem does not show up in the create new connection box.

I know its not technically a Modem but the Pipex instructions show a Alcatel USB appearing in the list.

The Conexant software reports that the line is up and lights flash (in software), the connection box reports byte totals changing so I think the line is okay.

How do I get IE6 to use the ADSL Modem

or as i do go into dial up networking run the connection and just load ie6
