Nice toy, can't quite believe that people spend so much to play a video game on the train, but each to their own. Friend has the little one, has to bring another machine to meetings as he gets laughed at.

Ha yeah mate, it was a present though for doing a few bits it does everything I need to, even the high spec games

It's reasonably thick Ant, and quite heavy, but nowhere near as heavy as the m18x.

According to google it weighs 5.3Kg,

height of 2.02 ", a width of 15.98 ", a depth of 12.65 ", and a weight of 11.68 pounds.

I have an M14x and it's brilliant. Had it about a year and it's been faultless.

The build quality is astonishing.

Always looking at these online, where did you get it from?
Are they just purely for gaming? or can you use them for video editing, internet etc

So much money though aren't they?

I had one! Was an excellent bit of kit. Had people tell me I could get xx cheaper, build one etc but, the Alienware just works nicely out the box and felt very together. I managed to get a fair bit off with a bit of banter on the phone!

Very powerful bit of kit they are. The only downside is they are fugly an bloody heavy but what else can you expect when they are cramming so much in eh!

However if games are your thing then it should work very nicely!

Lol thanks, this one was pretty pricey as it was a custom build and high end enough for me.

This one i managed to get through my boss as he's got contacts in resellers for these alienwares.

Managed to get it a couple hundred quid cheaper than the alienware site and a free bag!

I don't think these are ugly, but they are quite heavy and rather large.

My friend has the m18x but after seeing this it was bloody huge! m17 is the largest build i would go for
