Quicktime is what I've used in the past, for example:
Open files A, B, and C. Create new file D
Switch to A, select all, copy, switch to D, paste.
Switch to B, select all, copy, switch to D, it should be at the end of the pasted item, not then you should be able to position the cursor in the time bar to the far right, then paste.
Switch to C, select all, copy, switch to D, it should be at the end of the pasted item, not then you should be able to position the cursor in the time bar to the far right, then paste.
Switch to D, save / export in whatever format you want.
Open files A, B, and C. Create new file D

yes, but you gotta pay. On the same level, I use Logic Studio (but in this case, it's a sledgehammer to crack a walnut )
