apple humiliation

The likes of apple, MS and Oracle are running scared of the meteoric rise of open source software, especially Android. They cant ultimately compete with an operating system which is free so have taken to litigation as a way of trying to preserve market share.
When Android captures a market lead in office/server computing then it will be end of apple, ms and a like
It has been done in mobile phones, now tablets
It is a matter of time

Jack you are so behind the latest information, the USA case was a complete and utter **** up, it will be appealed and overturned. The relevant authorities and supreme court are now looking at the whole US patents which litigation trolling major companies have been using to stifle competition.

i really count my blessings sometimes being a non tech geek. the politics of these firms seems almost laughable.
clearly its not an area of my interest, and i dont get the huge issuesbetween manufacturers. but as an outsider with no interest or predujice these apple love/hate threads are comical. although i can appreciate dedeicated followers of eithers devotion, it just doesnt seem worth the effort.
btw my mobile is a nokia c1-01, a relic in comparison to whats on offer, i cant even get picture messages, never mind apps lol. but i can send texts and make calls. i hate smart phones tbh

That is the major difference between the two, other than the Apple being a powerful business machine and the Samsung being a cheap imitation. Apple didn't invent the laptop but they at least have their own style.

I'm very much in favour of value for money and you certainly don't get that from Apple! The MBP is a powerful business machine, that's why it's such a dominant force in the corporate market......er..no wait..that's not right.....

Same goes for smart phones and tablets - sticking a touch screen in a case with a few buttons, lets face it they are all going to look the same
The real innovation is in the internal electronics and the software.

Apple have shot themselves in the foot regarding that amount and the additional $550mn they want from Samsung. Their greed is their undoing and are now forced to make public and reveal sensitive information about their profit margins. Apple best prepare for the backlash from their customers when they find out how much Apple rapes their wallets. It goes from bad to worse for Apple and serves them right! All in all, a good first year for Tim Cook.

apple wont be getting any further monies, so lets see if they dare divulge sensitive data!
