dabs its a good site. i used to have a similar set up to you with the Q6600 overclocked and same PSU and RAM.
ive upgraded to an i7 now though which is loads faster with an SSD drive. also use an Nvidia GTX 560. really good cards! very fast and can run everything on full spec

id recommend one of these cards. im sure you could get 1 on ebay for around £100

dont get a palit version though. they are crap and overheat.. have had one before

the 550 is good aswell though. or a 650 as price is similar

compare them here for performance:

Nvidia > ati. Much better drivers and support!

Anyway his budget was £100 so thats cheating. I think he went for a gigabyte gtx 550 ti on overclockers on offer for £59.99 which was a good price i think.

Agreed on drivers, but some drivers from nVidia are not the best too.I've run few weeks 480GTX which has been so noisy and so hot card which I wouldn't put to my PC,this card caused on my PC 10 BSOD in two weeks, just in the W7 alone and in games several more

Cheating or not cheating, but still this card is best for the money. For extra £49 he have great GPU which will kick the 550/560,in some games will kick GTX480 as some games are optimized for nVidia or for ATi as you know

XFX drivers or support is best, lifetime warranty count for me,have 3 cards from them and very happy
