if the stuff you got is 10.7 compatible you'll be fine, my upgrade has finished and only two apps dont work. little snitch and parallels.

Lion works fine with the music software
Will wait with baited breath about outcome of Mountain Lion..... should hear the screams and wails of frustration from the music tech forums if it doesn't work

<pedant mode on>
You do realize that Mountain Lion is still under NDA, and as such discussing it does mean you are violating said NDA?

I'll take a punt a saying Ant cares not about the NDA. Nor the developer account.

Pinch in Safari for a nice tab view. Mice need not apply.

Dictation has been implemented in the usual slick Apple style. With one hand in a cast it's helping me greatly.

What an awesome contribution. Firefox have been updating twice a month for the last 8 years, take that Ubuntu, ugly cousin of Android.

First downside found today, no RSS reader in Safari, something I use extensively. Have to look in the App Store for a dedicated RSS reader now.
No typing used here.

I already use Google Reader, one extra click though. I'll get by with Flipboard, had a good look and there was one feed that I'd prefer was still handled by Safari, not worth adding an app.
