Default Android Botnet.

Chances are the numbers are much higher than the OSX incident earlier this year, deserves a good old fashioned hyping.

Not true. If one pile of cash is kept in a safe and another smaller pile is left in the open, does the bigger pile get pinched first?

Just helping out my fellow Android users.

I've had it for two weeks and it's going back at the end of the month. Not very useful, too much fiddling.

Don't fall into the pirate trap Fandroids, appsare cheap go to the official site... if you can find it.

What about the one found on iOS devices? From the Apple app store no less.

http://www.engadget.com/2012/07/05/s...e-gets-pulled/

Granted it's been pulled and was also on the unscreened Google Play, but Apple check apps don't they??

Yes they do. Permission was asked to upload your address book, that data was then used to send spam. Not exactly sophisticated. Uploading your address book is common and often wanted, who you upload it to is your own responsibility.

And Android users are responsible for what permissions they allow apps to have when they install them, and where they download apps from. If you get infected with malware, it's your own fault.
