Those who remember TOCA touring cars games from Codemaster will remember they were pretty damn good - especially the AI

The new game is definitely worth checking out because of the damage modelling alone. Very entertaining!

Heres the latest installment:

I tried this, and it was soooooo slooooow in the options menu that I gave up.

I guess it's time to think about an upgrade, but my AMD 1.4 Gig 512 Mb RAM and 32Mb Geforce 2 GTS seem to cope with most other stuff.

couple of nice little touches, like if you car has front end damage to components changing the view to bonnet from chase increases the nasty noises, even more so if you go to bumper cam.

have enclosed some snapshots so folks can see what there missing, and some of the damage :-

XRS - I'm only running a 1.4 Athlon, 512MB, GF3 Ti500 and it runs fine on mine. The only slow-down is at the start of the race.

Seems like a leaked demo - not polished, just a good idea of the actual driving experience - which is damn good. AI is much better than normal games, with other drivers taking retribution for chopping them up.

also if you had back into the traffic (as in go the opposite way round), they slow down and oe try to avoid you when youve spun which makes a nice change.

Managed to get it running @ 640x480 in windowed mode.

Looks OK, handling not up there with the best (SCGT) but I guess there's still time for them to work on it.

Better start persuading Mrs XRS of the merits of a graphics card upgrade!!

That lasted all of 10 mins on my hard drive before hitting the uninstall button !

Although, to be fair, Codemasters say it's a leaked "unofficial" demo

My pc is the same spec as yours XRS and it runs crap on mine too.
It must be the Demo because Moto3 runs really well.Good Handling and damage though.
