Question router not connecting to isp......

Suspect isp has been messing.
Rubbish speeds today (8meg line: 500yds from exchange= 0.3meg connection!!!)

Reset router and now get the following after getting a log request::

Options file - /etc/ppp/options.0.38.
setting line discipline hook
connect_pppoatm_ses...Enter
connect_pppoatm_ses: socket created fd - 0x7.
connect_pppoatm_ses: setsockopt called.
connect_pppoatm_ses: connect successful.
Calling line discipline hook
Setting pppoatm line discipline.
LLC encaps.
using channel 23
Using interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <-->

Also getting "LCP is allowed to come up".....

Am I right to suspect the isp or BT is "messing" about?!
Too many coincidences today......

(Plus.net is isp, but not my choice: was bought from vodafone!)
If not back on tomorrow, I'll be moving elsewhere)

Help?

Dan
