If anyone wants a Playbook, and can get it shipped from the US, now may be the time. It seems RIM is selling all models (16, 32 and 64GB) for US$299.

Info from here. I'd love to get onto the playbook section of RIM's site, but alas it's somewhat overwhelmed.

You cant root the playbbok anymore as they brought out another update to close the dingleberry root. You need the official os2 beta to get the android market on and since rim changed it you wiill just have to hope they release an official os2 next month which comes with android support.

It's a ridiculously good Web Browser for that money and there are a lot of good Web Apps.

(for the 16gb model, but I doubt there are any 64gb ones left in the US)
