Bought my Mum one of these last Mother's Day so she can Skype with our boy as he grows up. Seemed to do the job. Think I got it from Amazon or Play for less than M$ advertise it for.

All the ones for around £20 are pretty good. Anything too hi-resolution and it gets compressed to bits anyway. I have a logitech one with built-in microphone and it is pretty good.
