Question ASUS netbooks ?

Thinking of getting the kids a net book each for Xmas. Talking to the guy in curry's (he was ok, knew his stuff bit of a geek. but not the normal brain dead shop assistant) and he recommended as ASUS 1011px.

I was looking at a Samsung but he said he preferred this one, and it was cheaper. So really just after some advice on the make, any horror stories should I stay clear etc etc

Its 230 quid, 320 drive, 1g ram, intel proc, 10 inch screen 8 hour bat.

Looked ok to me or can anyone suggest anything better. Looking to spend around the £250 area.

Costco had a samsung only £220 it had a small drive but a 2 year warranty.

Get yourself down Sainsburys as they are clearing out their laptops and you can get decent spec 15" laptops for £229 with one model being an i5. That model is now out of stock nationwide after HotUKDeals got on the heels of that one. However being nosy I called my local store today and the bloke I spoke to on the electrical dept said the cage out the back had a load of different laptops all priced at £229. Why the hell they do this I don't know as none are on the shop floor for people to buy. You only find out if you ask. He said if I went in and saw him he'd bring them all out and go through them to find the best one. I was only after the i5 unfortunately.
