Default Stupidly Embarrassing Security Blunders by Apple

It's only been a week since IOS5 was released and already some monumental vulnerabilities have been exposed on the iPad and iPhone devices. More are sure to follow.

The main issue I have is that my battery seems to die at 20%. I wont be getting another either, not at the tariffs the providers ask.

Whilst it's not a solution I am suprised they gave you a new phone, however will the phone try to update to IOS5 again when you connect it to a computer?
I've never had an i-phone so just wondering?

Of course it's a safety feature as even using a handsfree can distract you from driving
Hence Apple designed a fail safe system so you can't use it as Apple recognise vans are white and driven by people that read the sun and go too fast there road safety issue.

The proof was with jermany clarkson on top gear when the astra van beat a Lamborghini

Jack will be along soon to discuss the 20% battery safety feature

pretty poor, makes you wonder about apples qa/testing department (sounds like 1 person) with the other flaws as well. Its not as though they have a lot of different products in the marketplace. Good job they don't really.

So you should, the S2 is a great - big - phone. But it doesn't work with my Alpine stereo so it must be ****. I should go into the Samsung shop and kick off.

The problem is, even with these problems, people will still continue to spend a lot of money on something that has more flaws than something cheaper from the competition.
It's like buying a D&G coat that has poor stitching which then falls apart after a year or so. But because that person loves D&G gear, they will go back and buy more.

It is a fashion phone with a fashion price tag, nothing more.

And the whole argument that Android software phones are outselling IOS iPhones only because you can get an Android phone for £50, is just laughable.
Listen to yourself. A £50 phone that does a lot of what a £600 phone can do.......and you still buy the £600 phone!

We are all free to purchase what we want, to be honest this whole Apple vs Android 'debate' is now really starting to get on my nerves.

If you are happy with an Android/Windows/iOS/Symbian/Blackberry based mobile then good for you, be happy with your choice - both Apple fans / Android fans should just get on with life; trolling on an forum is not exactly going to give meaning to your existence is it?

Or look at it this way find something more constructive to do with your time, and this applies to all fanboys of whichever breed of mobile OS you use.

These Apple Are Evil / Android Are Pants etc threads were semi interesting and a trivial diversion for a while but the more they carry on, the more I lose interest in using or owning either OS.

Agreed

But it's no different to the PS vs X-box fanboy scenario that went on in here for years, this has just replaced it

If you're going to have a Microsoft product, make it a console. I do and it works like an Apple computer.

Or own both like me, but I prefer the PS3 but the 360 I believe gets utilised by programmers despite the PS3 being the more powerful machine. You only have to look at Forza 4 to see this.

You'd have more luck if you did a better job of describing your problems. The phone didn't lose everything and chances are either Ford or Apple will fix your problem. Just hold tight, have a cup of tea, enjoy the new features you have and don't think the grass is greener.
