Default Memory card issue

I have this camcorder http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aiptek-Pocke...=pd_rhf_shvl_1

I have bought an PNY Optima SD HC 8GB memory card for it which works fine, however when I insert the card into the PC it does not show in my computer.

Im running Windows Vista. What can I do to fix this or how can I view the vids from the card on th PC?

Is your PC's card reader compatible with high capacity SD cards? If it's a few years old it may not be. Could try a USB card reader (that is specified to work with HC cards)?

How can I check to see if the card reader is compatible?

Check disk manager (right click my computer, manage, disk management) and make sure the card isnt trying to use the same drive letter as another sotage device.
