I dont see why is so amazing, one is a company at the top of its game, that has more money than it knows what to do with and the other a country on its ****, on Tuesday if you have a tenner in your wallet you will have more money than the US as it will be bankrupt and you have a tenner, of course world markets will plummet and things start to fall apart, inflation will be rampant so you wont even be able to buy a coffee for that tenner.

Err whats with the apple haters, my macbook air is the best computer iv'e ever owned, i dont do anything fancy with it but it's light years ahead of any of the poxy pc's and laptops iv'e had and it's sexy as ****.
press the on button and a couple of seconds later hey presto away we go, this alone has saved me half a lifetime in the six or so months that i have owned it.
And since when has success in business been some thing to get a bone up your ar$e about

My reasons for buying the macbook.
I travel on ryanair a lot so size and weight are an issue, and i would have to buy something that was half the weight allowed to be able to have good quality skype chats with video to see my boy if i threw more of my money at that tosser bill gates's crap that never works properly.
Had a fair few pc's and they are shyte and 2 laptops also shyte, and i payed good money.
It actually does what it says on the tin and does not make me want to smash the **** out of it with a hammer every time i switch it on.
So leave my apple alone you stone throwing pikey
press the on button and a couple of seconds later hey presto away we go, this alone has saved me half a lifetime in the six or so months that i have owned it.

The US is trillions? in debt ... i think i have more money in my piggy bank that the US, probably more than most countries that are all in debt.. seems like a bit of advertising rather than a serious economic statement

Oh and pass the hat round at any local night shelter and you would have more money than the us government, so it's hardly a suprise that a well run company with good quality products that actually work and are desirable has more money than the USA.
After all if bill gates can do it with the shyte he's been peddling all these years then why not Apple.

a quarter of the price too - at that rate you could afford a new one every couple years and stay up with technology

Seriously jack I really do believe you don't live on the same plane of existence as the rest of us. The Google/Android machine will gobble up Apple in a few years. People have already started to see through Apples marketing ploys (feeding them bits of technology, keeping inflated prices on 4 year old technology). Unless they come up with a game changer and not some compromised piece of hardware, they are going to loose the big customer base they have as people will only pay for equipment that actually works.
