Default BT Home hub problem

At least twice, sometimes more, a day I loose my internet connection. Using my computers diagnostics it shows that the wireless connection etc is fine but the ISP has failed. I reset the hub and all is fine for a few hours until it happens again. Any suggestions?

Your better off going here,

http://community.bt.com/t5/BB-Speed-.../bd-p/BBinHome

I went through 4x homehub 2 & 1x homehub 3, binned the hub and moved over to netgear and my problem fixed itself.

Some BT home hubs are also set to allow wireless access via the BT openzone system so that anyone with a BT account can latch on using that hubs connection.

I don't know if the customer is made aware of this when it's being installed or they get a special rate/discount for doing this but there are at least 5 openzone points in my road alone and there's only 10 houses. Maybe yours is set up like this and someone is hammering the bandwidth.
