Default Keyboard/Mouse sharing ?

Dont want a full KVM as dont use the two computers at the same time and dual monitors complicates it (I switch using the Analog and Digital modes on the monitor, cable to each), just want something I can plug the KB and Mouse into that sends the signal to both so I dont have to mess about changing them fromt he kids pc to my laptop.

Only one is on at a time, plus the work one is connected to some Cisco router thingy not my home network directly.

Okay, what about a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, then just make sure you have Bluetooth dongles for each.

I have one Keysonic 540 RF works fine except no num-lock LED, can be awkward for passwords...

P.S. Bluetooth would be easier to get a 2nd dongle for... Sorry !
