I used to get a clicking sound whenever I clicked on a object/link/thread etc - but on startup today it's disappeared

Nothings changed - any ideas?

Cheers

David,

Maybe you have turned the sound down ? Sorry, maybe too obvious.

Other option is to go to Control Panel | Sounds & Multimedia. See if the Scheme has been chnaged to "No Sounds". If not check to see if you have a Sound Event for "Windows Explorer > End Navigation" or "Windows Explorer > Start Navigation" (I prefer my click when the navigation ends). Make sure there is a sound against it, the "click" is "start.wav"

Hope that is right, doing it from memory.

Cheers

Ian

I thank you - why is it so obvious when someone tells you how it's done I get that - why didn't I think of that feeling !

Thanks
