AMD 350 Upgrade
#1
I am looking for a worthwhile but cheap upgrade on:
PA2013 Mobo
AMD 350 o/c @ 400 MHz
32 Meg SIS graphics AGPx2
SB AWE64 Gold (ISA)
56k modem
PC100 64Mb + PC130 64&256 Mb SDRAM
Looking at Abit KT7A / PC Chips M810 or M841 with 1/1.2 GHz Duron CPU - is it worth doing? - Any better ideas?
Current system is just about acceptable, I can wait to upgrade but feel that a bit of extra speed just now could be beneficial. PC is not used for high spec games.
Cheers
Mick

you might wanna look at changing to a new motherboard and CPU. be aware that most modern motherboard dont have a ISA slot, so wont be able to use your AWE64 sound card. go for a AMD Duron as they are very good value for the speed.
