Default Firefox issue

For some reason Firefox wont let me click smilies or click on usernames to see posts etc. Any ideas why? Does nothing when I click on smilies and click on a members name and it goes straight to their profile not give you a list of options. Have to manually type smilies in which I only know a couple and LOL
