Thumbs down Windows Vista

Hello guys.

Have any of you ever had network problems with Vista?? The problem I have is that it will not connect to my home hub. It has Unidentified network, on local area and wireless. I've tried everything. Like, releasing and renewing ip, applied the winsock reset catalog, uninstalling and re installing network drivers. Is there anything else I can try?? What did you guys do to resolve the problem??

I've been told that it's a common problem with Vista and the only solution is to do a re install of Vista!!! But, I don't have a Vist CD!! And I Don't want one either

I'd rather put Win xp on it. Do thwy still sell Windows xp?

Problem solved! I found it strange that Norton 360 kept popping up more than usuall telling me it needed renewing!! So I went to uninstall the ****** and the laptop connected to the net straight away!

Wink

I run Vista

When I built this PC, XP 64bit was crap and Win7 wasn't out. My other PC runs Win7, I haven't upgraded this one yet and don't have a need to. Works perfectly fine for me
