We have discovered over the last few weeks a serious problem with the manufacturing/assembly process of these laptops. It seems that somewhere in the assembly line they are forgetting to include the tiny screws that hold the internal hard drive into the unit. So any amount of shaking, natural movement in a bag etc will result in the drive slipping out of the SATA connectors.

Our distribution channels have ring fenced several stocks of these until Lenovo sort out the issue.
