My old laptop has gave up the ghost and its so old its not worth spending any money on it getting it fixed. Now my ipod was linked to it so all my tunes are saved on itunes on it.

If i plug my ipod into a new laptop will i be able to transfer my music from it onto the new laptop rather than having to load all the cds into itunes again?

A new itunes on a new pc will wipe your ipod clean, you can get programs that will pull your music from the ipod before it syncs with itunes

 

Think media widget is one i have, for this problem

Copy Trans Manager will also do all those things, music on/off and is free. Works a treat for my daughters ipod.
