Default memory card data loss

Had so many pictures on my micro SD memeory card, it worked fine, sold the phone and then took the memory card out as i wasnt going to give that away with it. Now everytime i go to put it in a diffrent phone it asks for a password, never put a password on it so why is it asking this?

anyone know how to get around this without loosing the data on the memeory card

It doesn't put it in the recycle bin if you shift delete, it just deletes it!

What operating system are you using? If it's Windows 7 you should be able to use the Previous Versions feature. Right-click on the folder your CV was in and click Properties. Click on the Previous Versions tab. In here you'll see several previous versions of that folder. Double click on one and it will display the previous version. Then copy and paste your CV back to the original folder.
