http://www.storagereview.com/iomega_...unced_ces_2011

If anybody aint used Boxee or XBMC as far as im concerned one of the best for ya Xvids etc, even Grabs the covers .

Boxee has yet to fail to play anything ive thrown at it

with this and a 2tb drive for possible under 200 quid, its looking good.

I was concidering netgear Duo NAS and boxee, but wife hates wires and all in 1 affair is good.

Ive tried it all Pcs Tvercity Twonky all ok but boxess direct to ya TV rocks

yeah nearly bought one, but it lacks hdisk

iomega has both 2tb disk and Boxee, your gonna ask me why i dont stream across my lan aint you.

well i do but with 3d 1080P even a network struggles , so a direct link from a boxee device does it.

i could however have a Boxee and a fat usb drive, but its all extra plugs and that iomega looked neat.

Western Digital are very good, look for Blue or Black serie, don't go Green series, which are very slow comparing to Blue or Black series.
Seagate are same like Iomega, very noisy 7200rpm HDD.
Samsung F3 Spinpoint are mine favourites with WD Black,Blue series

I think Samsung F1 series(1TB) is RAID Certified.

My Pocorn Hour is the best gadget I ever bought, had it about 3 years now and it's still yet to refuse to play anything.

I have an old Popcorn Hour aswell, but I wouldn't buy another, nor would I buy the one in the first link or a Boxee Box either.

µATX running XMBC, considering prices, is where it's all at now.

Do you have a link to some ready made ones?

Look into ASRock, review of one here,

http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/deskt...srock-ht100-bd

buy a cheaper version here

XBMC has come on a long way since the first Xbox, I only realised that lately

You load file on popcorn which basically you just select the cover to play
