I'm after a bit of advice, I need to replace my 7 yr old Alienware Area-51M (766 Model) for various reasons. Due to a change in circumstances over the last 7 years I cannot justify spending another 2600 quid on a laptop. I have found a couple of replacements that I think will fit the bill. I just need a second opinion. What do you guys think would be better, a nvidia 460M GTX on a 1600 x 900 screen or a ATI Radeon M 5870 on a 1920 x 1080 screen. Does the any one know if either of those two cards are man enough to play games at the screens native resolutions, with some half decent settings. As I don't want to make the mistake I did with the alienware where the 9600 wasn't man enough to run a lot of the games at the time @ 1600 x 1200 let alone anything modern.
