I have just downloaded a mix album from Itunes. It has 3 80 min continuous mixes and then all the tracks in a single format. As this was my first download from Itunes I was expecting to get a mixed track but split into tracks like what I would have got if I bought the CD.
Is there a way of doing this in Itunes?
I am sure it has been asked a million times but I have searched both Apple and google and I cannot find an answer.

Right click on the file in iTunes and click get info. You can change the start and finish and I tunes will make a file for that time you specified.

It is sort of what i am after. I was hoping there was something that would do it automatically within Itunes.
Is there not an option to split tracks on mixed albums when you buy from Itunes?

iTunes albums are normally split , you must of just picked a bad one

You can tell they are split as the album will let you buy individual tracks from the album

I got all of them with the download but they are the full song of each track on the mix. I thought they would be each track in its mixed format..
It is not that much of a big deal as it was not as good an album that I thought it would be so I probably wont be playing it much :-)
