Default Mesh PC Order - I need to vent!

On Friday 5th November i ordered a new desktop PC from Mesh Computers - the current PC is a Mesh and has done a grand job for 4 years!

So I place the order - £600

I get a confirmation - thanks for your £600 we aim to deliver within 14 days!

I get another confirmation - thanks for your £600 we aim to deliver within 14 days!

Erm............have I just paid twice?

I call up, "Hi have I paid twice?"

Mesh - No sir, thats not possible as there can be only one payment per order number - dont worry and thanks for your order!
I pop online to my bank account..........

I have been charged twice

I call up, "Hi, I have been charged twice for my order"

Mesh - No sir, thats not possible as there can be only one payment per order number - dont worry and thanks for your order!
Erm, hang on, I HAVE been charged twice.......

Mesh - No sir, thats not possible as there can be only one payment per order number ................ but I'll just check.............sorry sir it appears you have paid twice, I will arrange a refund......
So I wait..............and wait, and I email...........nothing, so I email again.............nothing, so I email again.........

Mail Server - Your email cannot be delivered as the receipient "Mesh Computers" has placed your IP on a spamer database"
I phone...............

Mesh - No sir, thats not possible we do not do that to our customers......I will arrange to refund you..........
Eventually, 10 days later I get my money...........and wait for the PC

14 days pass................I email - no reply

21 days pass................I email - no reply

A month comes up..............I'll call them

Mesh - we do appolgise but we are waiting for parts, please wait a few more days..........
Erm, sorry this is now almost a month, when will it be delivered?

Mesh - we do appolgise but we are waiting for parts, please wait a few more days..........
Yeah, you just said that, but I need a delivery date, this is rediculous...

Mesh - we do appolgise but we are waiting for parts, please wait a few more days..........
Ok thats the third time you have repeated that, if you cannot tell me when it will arrive please tell me how to cancel my order.........

Mesh - we do appolgise but we are waiting for parts, please wait a few more days..........
Ok, now I'm getting annoyed - how do I cancel my order and get a refund?

Mesh - please send an email to our sales team..........
But, you are the sales team, you answered the phone saying "Mesh Sales"

Mesh - please send an email to our sales team..........
Why?

Mesh - please send an email to our sales team..........
Can you transfer me to your supervisor please?

Mesh ............... HUNG UP..........
Bloody fuming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it is 30 days past your original transaction date, contact your credit company and say you wish to cancel the payment and explain why. Do not talk with Mesh anymore.
I would ring the card company now and get the ball rolling.

Thats a good idea Chris

30days will be up very early next week, I'll call them then.

The really sad thing is that a few emails from them explaing stuff would probably have meant them keeing my custom, now I have to start again with another supplier

I stopped buying from Mesh a few years ago as they went downhill on price and customer service. I bought a good spec PC from a company called 'Cyberpower' last December and its been fantastic thus far. Another stomping company at the moment is called 'Palicomp'. Both these companies have been winning best buy awards in major PC magazines.

I've bought 4 computers from Mesh over the years, never had a problem with any of them.

Have heard bad things about their customer service in the past though.
