Hi All I bought my mates old Xbox 360 Elite and an Xbox hard drive data transfer cable. I backed up my old Xbox 360 60GB hard drive and restored the data to the 120GB Elite Hard Drive. But now the Xbox won't recognised the hard drive! What have I done. All I wanted to do is transfer everything off my old hard drive to my new one.

Probably some combination of M$ anti piracy stuff has hit you and your data on someone else's hard drive (this it what the Xbox thinks) throws that into a wobbly and won't let you access stuff.

 

Sorted. Had deleted the hard drives security id. Restored this and now working.
