Just won an ipad from an incentive at work, synced it with my itunes, but now i want to put some of my dvd s onto it. What is the simplest way of doing it?

Ideally i want to put the dvd into my laptop, then a window pop up saying do you wish to import into itunes, i would click yes, and then its there for me to put on my ipad. Does this exist? If not, what easy options does a computer illiterate person have?

Won't Handbrake only encode unprotected DVD's?
You'll need to break the copy protection first with something like dvddecrypter.

 

Very good point. Mac the ripper is also good a removing region and copy protectio, thus allowing you to legally make a copy of a DVD you own and want a digital copy of
