Default Spyware

I have Avira and Virginmedia spyware detectors on my PC but still get a lot of detections, what's a good spyware remover i can download?
I've had spyware doctor in the past but it doesn't like Virginmedia

im with virginmedia i use spybot search and destroy

if you mean they have detected intrusions then there working ok

well i've installed superantispyware full version and it's working great, i'll be removing Avira now

I hate to say it microsoft security essentials make sure you download 32 or 64 bit version for your pc it is as good as it comes and free,ps does scan and report back to msh-t everthing that is running on your machine,nothing is for nothing,but it is good at the mo
