Default No Starcraft 2 thread?

Has anybody started playing it? awesome average on Metacritic at the moment (96%!)

I am almost getting swallowed up in the hype myself, even though i dont really like "base building" and i have all the Dawn of War games to finish off (most have not been started yet)

Do Blizzard ever drop the price of their games in a kind of "sale" type thing ?

I should really

I thought it would have had a multipage thread in here to be honest as everybody who ever touched a PC, raved about the first game.

Decided i will get through my huge Dawn of War collection before even thinking about trying it.

It came out on the 27th July but its meant to be pretty good, may go and buy it next week sometime, not sure if the limited edition pack is worth it though?

Ive been playing RTS since dune 2 and i can tell you its one of the best RTS campaigns i've ever played. The multiplayer aint bad too! I also enjoyed DoW & DoW 2 although completely different RTS games!

Hmmmm im annoyed now, getting the error "an error occurred starting starcraft 2", reinstalled, all drivers up to date etc, get the windows latest patch loaded now to see if that fixes it and it seems to be quite common and no real info on how to fix it on the starcraft 2 website

I am liking the single player campaign mode. Cut scenes/story is much better

Its an awesome game.

The SP campaign mode is just great and if you fancy a real challenge you can always try MP.

Its best if you get a team with a few mates and get on ventrilo or TS2 etc.

well worth £30 odd
