Smile Cheap new laptop

As above my mum needs a new lap top, now she only needs it for surfing the tinerterweb, watching youtube, msn etc so nothing fancy or expensive(sub £300 if poss ) and have windows installed it doesn't need to be massive spece'd processor or hard drive(100gig or less) . She would like new, so she has peace of mind etc. The cheapest one Ive come across is this from staples.

Cheers

If thats all she needs it for then I would probably go with a netbook? My mum just bought one for exactly the same reasons and she loves it.

Cheers Ian like you said the staples one does look to be the best value one

mystery machine I'm not entirely sure what a note book is though she is partial to saving and playing music so a hard drive is a necesity which is what my thinking is with regards to a notebook not having one? And she does require wi-fi

Netbooks come with wifi and hard drives built in.

Netbooks

the only real difference is the size, oh and they are usually cheaper

Just realized they don't have optical drives though, but you could get an external one if it was required, probably still work out cheaper
