So that's 65mph average between those two points at 5 minute intervals, assuming you've travelled via the direct route (blue line). As we can see on the map, the M11 doesn't actually follow a straight line (nor does it go through Saffron Walden...
), so I think you were exceeding the speed limit

The unit was reporting the speed at the time of sending it
As the post says, once every 5 minutes, though I've reconfigured for 30 sec u/dates today whilst one of our chaps drives round London

...right so it's 'realtime', but is it 'realtime, displayed locally' or 'realtime, broadcast to a central office' (i.e. could someone in your position have a real-time display of where all their couriers are)?
