Server 2k3 Group Policy flags
Hi all, bit of an odd question. Does anyone know where windows stores it's group policy processing. I have been responsible for pushing out kaspersky via GPO to my university, so far this has gone well however we do have a couple of stubborn machines which do not run the GPO, and also some that have 2 objects popping up in control panel stating the same object in installed twice. Are there flags that are set stating the GPO has been run?

do you mean flags on the client?
gpresult will give you diagnostic output on what policies have been applied to a client machine
you could try removing then re-adding it to the domain

Thanks Hodgy, I know about the gpresult command, but could I alter the flags to say if the GPO has run on the machine. We have some machines that have the policy applied to them but have not installed anything, and others that will always try to reinstall the software from GPO even though it already exists. These are only the minority.....but still a pain
I run gpupdate /force etc on the machines also and re adding to domain.
