Not a clue, but if you do get anyone interested and a battery is a factor, you can tell them a new one only costs £40

tbh keeping it would be your best bet. old laptop market isn't very string. mate buys damaged ones, repairs them and sells them on, even giving pitance in the first place it doesn't make much money

£300 would be the going rate for the 1720.
The slightly newer 1720's in the dell outlet with the 9600m gs graphics, 320gb hdd and 2.2ghz core 2 spec start at £380 with no OS and rises to 680 for the later cpus, plus vat and del (and importantly a years warranty)

Business, vostro range then filter the results by the nb 1720 model in the dropsown list.
If you can't find it I'll post a link tonight. I've ordered a 2.53ghz core2duo, 4gb ram, 512mb nvidia 9600m Gs, 320gb, 7professional 1720 for £440 plus vat which is a bit of a bargain as it is a refurb with full warranty. Went for one with a red cover too as they are faster

I don't think you will get £350 for it, my sister only paid £350 for hers and it has 3ghz, 4gb ram and 500gb hard drive, it's not a Dell its Toshiba but brand new out of the shop with windows 7 and warranty.

I saw that one myswelf but as Imusing it for work thought the W7 pro license and slightly higher spec (and red cover! haha) was worth it.
