We recently bought a new Toshiba laptop (about 3 weeks ago). Anyway.......we've hardly used it yet (been busy with other stuff). Today, Mr OS wanted to use it for the itunes stuff. He had speakers plugged into it, and it won't play stuff properly. You can hear the music, but the vocals are really weird and sound like they're underwater. It's the same when it isn't played through speakers, and even though the volume is flat out you can't hear it. It's the same with a CD. Oh......and it's the same when played through our main speakers.

When I played Simon's Cat from youtube on it, it was ok, but there's no dialogue or anything on that, just sound effects.


Any ideas?

It's ok, we took it back today and they've given us a new one.
