I'm typing this on my HP Pavillion DV 6000 which is a couple of years old now..............never missed a beat. Come to think about it my old second hand HP / Compaq NC 6000 hasn't missed a beat either. 
Regularly abused by the kids ranging from 4-14 years old
Not the cheapest / most expensive but seem pretty well screwed together LOL
