Default home network help

How do I set up a home network using a win7 pc - BT hub2 - xp pc + printer, both machines have kaspersky 2010.
Whatever I try I cant see the other pc or the printer on network. Tried sharing files and have the same homegroup name everything else in this tutorial.

Ive done this with 5 pc's in our house but they're either XP or Vista. On Vista its fairly easy: click start and network and take it from there so if W7 is similar try that. On XP you have to download a file from the microsoft site that enables the XP machines to be visible on the network map. I think I did a search on the microsoft site to find out how to do it in the first place.

Try Here and Here

another

To display XP on the network map Click
