Default Hard disk/storage suggestions 6TB

Guy's need to put together a solution for someone requesting 6TB of storage what's the best way to do this, server loaded with HD's or a network device.

Anyone currently have this sort of setup and how do they manage and back up. Cost isn't no object but budget will be tight.

Appreciate any thoughts

What sort of backup requirements do they have?

Backing up 6TB is no easy task, especially if you want something off-site.

They do a 4 bay unit for a lot more cash bt I couldn't be bothered to search the web for one as I don't need one He could swap to 2x2terrabyte drives in one case and have the other case as 2x1 terrabyte drives since money is no object and it would porbably be cheaper than the new case
